To lead you through this adventure, you’ll meet your private marine guide who will introduce you to the bay’s rich ecosystem and the vital conservation work of the NGO Eco-Sud project. As your guide shares insights into the bay’s history, marine wildlife, and the importance of protecting this fragile environment, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of our family’s long-standing commitment to preserving this extraordinary area.
After your introduction to the project, set sail towards the coral farm, close to l'Île aux Aigrettes. In this vital conservation area, you’ll witness firsthand the coral restoration efforts and thriving marine life that we work hard to protect. Snorkel in the vibrant, clear waters and experience the underwater wonders that are being safeguarded for future generations.
While sailing, you might also observe the endemic Giant Tortoise, Pink Pigeon or the Mauritius Kestrel. Along the way, your guide will continue sharing stories about the local wildlife, ecology, and the ongoing conservation efforts that support the natural beauty of this bay.
As the boat gently glides back into our bay, you’ll slip into the water for another snorkeling experience with purpose. Beneath the surface, a carefully monitored marine transect stretches before you - a living record of the bay’s evolution. Your guide will lead you through this underwater journey and the subtle changes shaping this fragile ecosystem.
